Mardiono Hopes Sandiaga Uno And PPP Can Serve Together

Acting Chairperson of the Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP) Mardiono hopes that his party and the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno can jointly serve the country.

This was conveyed by Mardiono after receiving Sandiaga at his residence on Saturday night, April 22 yesterday in the context of friendship. He said, this service is expected to have an impact on the nation's development.

"Hopefully with this Eid Al-Fitr, in the future Pak Sandi can work together with PPP to serve, fight to build the nation and state," said Mardiono after meeting Sandiaga Uno.

Mardiono did not answer further regarding Sandiaga's move plan from the Gerindra Party to PPP. He only said that every existing political dynamics was always his concern.

Likewise, Sandiaga also did not want to talk much about his move. The deputy chairman of the Gerindra Party's Board of Trustees only asked all parties to be patient because the decision he made would be submitted in the near future.

"We respect the process after the recitation and worship prayers, in the next few days we will convey it," said Sandiaga.

He also confirmed that his relationship with Prabowo Subianto as the General Chair of the Gerindra Party had no problems. In fact, before meeting Mardiono, Sandiaga had asked for permission first.

This permit was conveyed by Sandiaga before the Minister of Defense left for Solo, Central Java to meet President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in the context of gathering. "Always take my steps, coordinate," he said.

"I have said that this morning he (Prabowo) said directly to Solo, I also said that I would go around meeting figures here. So we always maintain good relations and provide information to each other," concluded Sandiaga.
