There Is An Allegation That The Fortuner Car Mass Suicide Plan On The Sumpiuh Train Line

JAKARTA - Fortuner cars enter the railroad line through a level crossing in Sumpiuh, Banyumas Regency, Central Java, to the east, Wednesday morning at around 03.00 WIB.

"Currently, an evacuation is being carried out of cars that slip and transversely on the north of the Sumpiuh gas station," said Public Relations Manager of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Operational Area 5 Purwokerto, Krisbiyantoro as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, April 19 morning.

The evacuation of the car was carried out by deploying a crane unit imported from Tambak, Banyumas Regency, in coordination between KAI and the local police.

Furthermore, Kribiyantoro said the incident was absolutely the responsibility of the driver of the car whose whereabouts were not yet known.

"The car that came from the west entered the downstream route (the route to Jakarta/Bandung, ed.). Luckily all passengers and their luggage were safe, but the driver fled," he explained.

He said based on information from the Railway Operations Control Center, the incident had an impact on the delay in the journey of a Goods train that was stuck at Tambak Station.

According to him, his party is still monitoring the possibility of other trains being affected by the incident that occurred since 03.00 WIB.

Meanwhile, in a video recording circulating via WhatsApp, one of the passengers in the car, Taqwa (61) admitted that he came from Jambi with his wife and two children to go home to Purworejo to see a sick parent.

According to him, the Fortuner car with license plate number B-1559-NCQ is a rental vehicle.

He suspects that the car driver, known as Candra, deliberately directed his vehicle to the railroad line because he wanted to invite all of his passengers to commit suicide together.

"It was on purpose, so that everyone died, the driver said that. Thank God it was okay even though the children had abrasions," said the resident of Baru Village, Mestong District, Muaro Jambi Regency.
