MAKASSAR - The Lantamal VI Team will send an earthquake disaster management task force in Mamuju, West Sulawesi (Sulbar). Before leaving, the Task Force personnel carried out an apple.

There are 97 personnel of the VI Lantamal Task Force. The task force is in charge of SAR operations and the health of earthquake victims in Mamuju, West Sulawesi.

Commander of Lantamal VI (Danlantamal VI) First Admiral of the TNI Benny Sukandari, said that the dispatch of personnel from the Disaster Task Force was a form of humanitarian mission. This task is in accordance with the orders of Kasal Admiral TNI Yudo Margono, to support operations in the humanitarian sector in assisting victims of natural disasters in Military Operations Other Than War (OMSP) missions.

"The Task Force Team and several supporting materials are planned to be sent by sea today using the KRI Teluk Ende-517 together with other food and beverage staples to go to Mamuju Regency," said Benny Sukandari to reporters, Friday, January 15. .

The Disaster Management Operations Control Center (Pusdalops) of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) again issued data on the number of victims due to the Majene earthquake, West Sulawesi.

Based on data from January 15 to 14.00 WIB, 34 people were declared dead due to an earthquake of magnitude 6.2.

"Details of 26 people died in Mamuju Regency and 8 people in Majane Regency," said the Head of the BNPB Disaster Data, Information and Communication Center, Raditya Jati in his statement, Friday, January 15.

In addition, a number of evacuation posts have now been established in Mamuju and Majene areas. There are 10 refugee posts in Majene Regency. Meanwhile, for Mamuju District there are 5 evacuation posts.
