Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo appealed to travelers to take advantage of public transportation to return home during Lebaran 1444 H. Travelers can take advantage of the facilities provided by the government, be it ships or trains (KA). Because this year there is a quota for transporting goods that travelers can use.

This was conveyed by Ganjar when checking the readiness of the travelers' facilities at Tawang Station, Wednesday, April 5. Accompanied by representatives of KAI Daop IV, Sujoko and Plh of the Central Java Provincial Transportation Agency, Deta, Ganjar checked the situation at the big Semarang City station.

Ganjar received a report that there were an additional five series of trains passing through the Semarang area. "God willing, it's ready. But about the ticket on the 18th and back has run out. The previous 18 seems to still exist," said Ganjar.

Ganjar appealed to the public, especially those planning to go home by two-wheeled vehicles, to take advantage of public transportation. Moreover, the government has prepared and increased capacity to load more homecoming vehicles.

"Alhamdulillah, there are homecoming packages, passengers plus motorbikes. There are an additional 3 trunks prepared, so later the passengers will go home with motorbikes directly used," he said. Ganjar also received a report that there were an additional five series of trains passing through the Semarang area.

In addition to trains, sea routes that will depart via Tanjung Priok Port are still available.

The 18th passengers also have a motorbike, and there is still a quota. So, if anyone wants to go home from Priok to Semarang, please register, so that later the preparations will really be good," he said.

Ganjar asked the public to prioritize safety during the homecoming trip. According to him, going home in two-wheeled vehicles is very unsafe, especially for long distances.

"Avoid using a motorcycle for very long distances. It will endanger yourself. There is fatigue, the load is also excessive, everything is carried away, so it will be dangerous. Use a safer vehicle," he said.
