Intentions To Fight Wearing Sarongs During Sahur, 13 Teenagers In Tangerang Arrested By Police

TANGERANG - A total of 13 teenagers were arrested by the Cisoka Sector Police (Polsek), Tangerang. They allegedly wanted to do a brawl using a sarong.

Cisoka Police Chief AKP Eddy Sumantri said the 13 teenagers were secured by mobile patrol officers for disturbances in security and public order (Guantibmas). They were arrested in the Perum Kirana area, Solear District and Perum Taman Cisoka Indah in Cisoka.

"In active patrols around Perum Kirana and Perum Taman Cisoka Indah at 02.00 WIB. Officers found that the association of children was suspected of wanting to do a brawl / sarong war," said Eddy, as quoted from Antara, Thursday, March 23.

Eddy did not specify the motives of the teenagers who wanted to do the brawl. However, when carrying out security, officers found a number of evidences in the form of a modified sarong with a knot tied at the end of the sarong.

Police officers suspect that the group of teenagers will carry out a brawl that is troubling local residents.

"The evidence that we have secured is three motorcycles, seven mobile phones and three modified sarongs," said Eddy.

He revealed, for the next 13 teenagers, security was carried out at the Cisoka Police Headquarters to be given guidance to anticipate the recurrence of brawls.

"Furthermore, it was secured at the Cisoka Police, until now the situation is still conducive," he said.
