Korlantas Check Viral Patwal Car RI 36 Which Arrogantly Shows Taxi Drivers In Sudirman

JAKARTA - The Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the National Police stated that they would check the viral video of a patwal officer (patrol and escort) for a car with license plate number RI 36, which appointed a taxi driver.

"We'll see what the report looks like. We'll check it out first, we'll see what the violations are like," said the Director of Law Enforcement (Dirgakkum) Korlantas Polri Brigadier General Raden Slamet Santoso as reported by ANTARA, Friday, January 10.

Currently, his party has not received a report regarding the video.

"While I haven't received a report from the Head of Sub-Directorate. There are officers from Korlantas, some from Polda Metro Jaya. We will make sure first," he said.

But Brigadier General Slamet emphasized that the act of pointing was not a proper act by Patwal officers.

"The name is escort, we must train everything, we test all the officers. The escort officers should not point to such arrogance," he said.

It is known that a viral video on social media X recorded a patwal officer pointing at a taxi driver.

In the video, a patwal officer who escorted the car with the number plate RI 36, paved the road in the midst of heavy traffic conditions on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jakarta.

Then the taxi stopped because a truck stopped in front of him. When he was about to change lanes, the taxi was stuck because there was a car on the track he wanted to occupy.

As a result, the taxi blocked the patwal officer who was trying to pave the way. Because it was blocked, the officer pointed to the taxi driver.
