JAKARTA - Acting Director General of Public Communication and Media of the Ministry of Communication and Digital Molly Prabawaty said that the official car of the Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs, Meutya Hafid, used the number plate of RI 22.

"(Official car number plate) Menkomdigi RI 22," said Molly as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, January 10.

Molly emphasized that the car with the number plate RI 36 which is currently viral on social media is not the car used by Minister Meutya.

"No," he said.

It is known that a viral video on social media X recorded a patwal officer pointing at a taxi driver.

In the video, a patwal officer who escorted the car with the number plate RI 36, paved the road in the midst of heavy traffic conditions on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jakarta.

Then, the taxi stopped because a truck stopped in front of him. When he was about to change lanes, the taxi was stuck because there was a car on the track he wanted to take.

As a result, the taxi blocked the patwal officer who was trying to pave the way. Because it was blocked, the officer pointed to the taxi driver.

It is known that the number plate RI 36 was previously used for the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.
