Acting Regent Of Bogor Asks All ASN To Use Uniforms From Local Products

Bogor Regent Iwan Setiawan appealed to all state civil servants (ASN) within the Bogor Regency Government, West Java, to use the work uniforms of local products from Bogor. "Every Tuesday we have implemented using a smart casual uniform. For this reason, I urge ASN to buy casual clothes resulting from IKM (middle-sized industry) assisted by Disdagin (Trade and Industry Office)," said Iwan in Bogor, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, March 21. According to him, the appeal aims to encourage the progress of IKM in Bogor Regency and accelerate the circulation of the economy in the region. Iwan even stated that he was ready to facilitate IKM players engaged in fashion, one of which was through the IKM bazaar. "We are ready to find a place for the bazaar, so that the local government people use local products every Tuesday. Later after ASN, then BUMD may be a private company on Tuesday," said Iwan. In addition, Iwan also asked Bogor Regency IKM players to be good at using digital technology and actively innovate, in order to produce quality and competitive products. "This fashion system business must follow technology and continue to innovate, upgrade it according to the times so that it remains updated and contemporary. One of them is shoe IKM in Sukaraja that has produced quality export products and has penetrated the international market. So the shoes in America turned out to be made by Sukaraja, Bogor Regency," he explained. Meanwhile, the Head of the Bogor Regency Trade and Industry Office (Dsdagin), Entis Sutisna, explained that he continues to strive to develop IKM fashion creativity so that he is able to make innovations in terms of design and mode to produce competitive products. "We provide insight and knowledge to IKMs in designing fashion products, especially fashion procedures, in order to be able to increase the creativity of the design, trend of the mode and selling value of their products. We also always encourage them to be skilled in making various designs and fashion product modes, especially fashion management," said Entis.
