TANGERANG Two days before the holy month of Ramadan, a number of entertainment venues and health facilities for spa massage in Tangerang were closed by the Tangerang City Government (Pemkot) through the Department of Culture and Tourism. Another rule that is applied during Ramadan is that restaurant owners, cafes, restaurants and the like, can open their businesses using closed curtain starting at 17.00 WIB.

"Especially for owners of restaurants, cafes, restaurants and the like that serve sahur, opening businesses starts at 02.00 WIB by implementing strict health protocols," he said.

Tangerang City Police Chief Wawan Fauzi said his party had deployed around 100 personnel on standby to carry out surveillance sweeping of the SE regulations that were enforced.

Satpol PP will give an initial warning if someone commits a violation and if it repeats it does not rule out the possibility of applying for the revocation of business licenses.
