JAKARTA - Apparently, the summons sent by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) against Bengkulu Governor Rohidin Mersyah have not been received. Originally, Rohidin would be examined by the KPK.
Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Affairs Ali Fikri said that Rohidin was originally to be examined as a witness in the alleged bribery for the export license of lobster or fries for the owner of PT Dua Putra Perkasa, Suharjito.
"The summons as witnesses against the person concerned after we checked have not been received," said Ali at the KPK building, Jakarta, Tuesday, January 12.
Suharjito was a bribe to Edhy Prabowo when he was Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries.
Ali said that the KPK investigating team had scheduled a re-examination of Rohidin. Even so, Ali has not revealed exactly when Rosidin will be questioned by investigators.
"The KPK Investigative Team will soon schedule a recall to the person concerned. We will inform further about the time," said Ali.
It is known that the KPK has appointed Edhy Prabowo as Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries along with two of his staff, Safri and Andreau Pribadi Misata; the management of PT Aero Citra Kargo (PT ACK) named Siswadi; staff wife of the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries named Ainul Faqih; and Amiril Mukminin were named as suspects who received bribes related to the export license for fry. Meanwhile, the suspect who gave the bribe was the Chairman of PT Dua Putra Perkasa Pratama (PT DPPP), Suharjito.
Edhy Prabowo and five other people are suspected of accepting bribes from Suharjito and a number of exporters related to the export license for fry, whose transportation services can only use PT Aero Citra Kargo.
