JEMBER - Jember Regency, East Java was rocked by an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 on Thursday, March 16 at around 12.22 WIB. The epicenter was located at coordinates 10.90 South Latitude up to 113.30 East Longitude or 302 kilometers Southwest of Jember with a depth of 10 kilometers. Based on the official website of the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) that the earthquake centered in Jember Regency, East Java, has no potential for a tsunami.
