"In the midst of the emergence of radicalism, intolerance and terrorism movements on the basis of radical mass organizations and with the idea of a khilafah that is everywhere and has not been handled properly, the criteria for becoming the National Police Chief after General Idham Azis are the type or character of the National Police Chief who carries the state's vision of protecting the Republic of Indonesia without know backward teeth, "said Petrus Selestinus in his written statement, Tuesday, January 12.

Therefore, it is possible that a package for the head of the National Police in the future will also be between Komjen Pol Agus Andrianto as the Chief of Police and Komjen Pol Boy Rafli Amar as Deputy Chief of Police. He added, if this leadership package strengthens, it means that it is not too late and there is still time.

"Kompolnas and DPR Commission III should open the Complaint Box to collect information from the public regarding the track records of the National Police chief candidates, so that Kompolnas and DPR are not trapped in a closed recruitment pattern, such as buying a cat in a sack," he explained.

In addition, these two three-star police generals also possessed inconspicuous assets. Agus is a simple Komjen, as evidenced by the minimum assets among the five three-star generals who are being gossiped about as a candidate to replace Idham Azis. Meanwhile, Boy Rafli, is a three-star general who also looks like Agus.

Agus Andrianto last reported LHKPN in November 2016 when he was still the Head of the South Sumatra Regional Police Operations Control Section. On the KPK's e-lhkpn website, there was no recent asset report when he took office as Head of the Police Security Maintenance Agency.

Meanwhile, Boy Rafli Amar, who is the head of the National Counterterrorism Agency, has assets of Rp. 6,451 billion referring to the 2020 LHKPN. He has land and building assets worth Rp. 4,901 billion.

These land and building assets are scattered in South Jakarta and Lebak, Banten. The ones with the greatest value are land and buildings in South Jakarta with an asset value of Rp3.75 billion.

Boy also has three cars worth Rp.692.9 million. Namely the Toyota Fortuner in 2011, Toyota Innova in 2019, and the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport in 2019. Then other movable assets with a value of Rp. 760 million, cash and cash equivalents of Rp. 241.18 million, and debt of Rp. 144.05 million.

The chairman of Commission III of the DPR, Herman Herry, is of the view that track records and professionalism must be the main references in determining candidates for the National Police Chief. Primordial issues, especially those related to ethnicity, religion, race and inter-group (SARA) should not be a consideration for President Jokowi in choosing a new National Police Chief.
