Alleged PPK Code Of Ethics Violation, West Jakarta KPU Submit 19 Evidence To DKPP

JAKARTA - Reports of alleged violations of the code of ethics of a citizen at the receipt of the District Election Committee (PPK) are being followed up by the West Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) by submitting 19 pieces of evidence to the Honorary Council of Election Organizers (DKPP).

"There are 19 pieces of evidence that we convey, including proof of graduation because the claim is a CAT test whose value has not been submitted, even though we convey its value on the website and announcement board," said West Jakarta KPU Chairman Cucum Sumardi, Tuesday, March 14, quoted by Antara.

In addition, Cucum also highlighted the reporter on behalf of Ign Ditok Gagah Trijaya who used the basis of KPU Regulation Number 3 of 2018 concerning the Establishment and Work Procedure of the District Election Committee, the Voting Committee and the Voting Organizing Group in the Implementation of General Elections in making reports.

In the regulation, the reporter argued that there were no requirements for PPK members to be part of community leaders to master information technology.

In fact, currently the government has revoked the KPU Regulation and refers to KPU Regulation Number 8 of 2022 and KPU Circular Letter Number 476.

"In the KPU Circular Letter Number 476, considerations are included, including community leaders, women's involvement, mastering information technology," said Cucum.

Cucum and his staff handed over all decisions to the DKPP. He stated that he would follow the results of the DKPP decision after providing the evidence.

Previously, Ign Ditok Gagah Trijaya as a participant in the PPK selection reported the West Jakarta KPU (Jakbar) to the DKPP for allegedly violating the code of ethics in the selection of PPK officers.

The points of the report that Ditok complained about were about notification of computer tests via WhatsApp (WA) to the announcement of test graduation without a score notification.
