JAKARTA - The government has reiterated its commitment to continue to improve the management of state finances by following up on all findings and recommendations of the Financial Audit Agency (BPK), including the results of the examination of the Central Government Financial Report (LKPP) for 2025.

Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa said the government would consistently follow up on each BPK recommendation as part of efforts to improve the quality of state financial management.

He added that the commitment also includes the completion of findings that are still left from the results of the LKPP examination in previous years.

In the 2025 LKPP examination, the BPK highlighted three main issues, namely, first, the presentation of performance information in the notes to the LKPP 2025 financial statements. Second, the utilization of the National Social and Economic Single Data (DTSEN) as the main data source in government spending has not been optimal.

Third, the BPK assessed that the government had not established criteria and procedures for calculating the volume of fuel oil distribution for compensation spending.

In addition, there is still a discrepancy in regulations regarding the determination of the handover point for the distribution of certain fuel types (JBT) of diesel fuel in the subsidy and compensation scheme.

Purbaya revealed that overall, the BPK delivered 11 findings in the results of the 2025 LKPP examination that needed to be the attention of the government and would be immediately followed up.

"From the results of the examination of the 2025 LKPP, the BPK conveyed 11 findings that should be a matter of concern and followed up by the government to improve the quality of state financial management in the future," he said in the presentation of the bill on Accountability for the Implementation of the 2025 State Budget at the DPR RI Plenary Meeting, Thursday, July 2.

He emphasized that the government was committed to following up on all findings in accordance with the recommendations given by the BPK.

As a follow-up step to the first findings, the government will conduct a study on the applicable accounting standards and policies, as well as develop a mechanism for disclosing government performance information in financial statements to be more comprehensive.

For the second finding, the government will harmonize various regulations related to the use of DTSEN as the main basis in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of social programs.

In addition, the results of the evaluation and supervision of the implementation of DTSEN will also be the basis for improving future policies.

Meanwhile, regarding the third finding, the government will determine the criteria and procedures for calculating the volume of fuel distribution for compensation spending needs.

Furthermore, the government will also adjust regulations regarding the determination of the point of handing over the volume of distribution of JBT solar oil to be in line with the mechanism for providing subsidies and compensation.
