Dismissing Brawl In Makassar, Team Stabbing Seizures Of Arrows And Firecrackers

MAKASSAR - The police broke up a brawl between two groups on Jalan Urip Sumoharjo, Panakkukang District, Makassar, Monday, January 11. Arrows (bow) and firecrackers were secured by the police.

Head of the Stabbing Team (Action for Security and Public Order Disturbance) Makassar Police, Ipda Arif Muda, said the brawl involved the two residents, namely, Tamajene and Maccini, Panakkukang District.

"That was true last night the dissolution of the group war, between Tamajene and Maccini's children," said the Head of the Makassar Polrestabes Police Stabbing Team, Ipda Arif Muda, to reporters, Monday, January 11.

This brawl occurred on Sunday, January 10 in the morning and was dispersed by the police. A number of arrows and liquor (miras) were secured from the police. There were 15 people who were arrested in connection with the brawl.

"So it continues how many nights the group war occurs, in Tamajene," continued Ipda Arif Muda.

The brawl is thought to have resulted from an argument from Maccini's group who wanted to control the parking area along Urip Sumoharjo.

"If last night no one was secured in connection with Maccini's side, no one was secured. Based on information from the residents, there was Maccini's son who wanted to control the land and parking along Urip Sumoharjo," said Ipda Arif Muda.
