JAKARTA - The Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) did not only block the accounts belonging to Rafael Alun and his son Mario Dandy who were involved in the abuse case.

The financial password view institute also blocked the accounts of Rafael's wife and other children.

"Yes, all (a membership of Rafael's family members is blocked, ed)," said PPATK Head Ivan Yustiavandana to VOI, Tuesday, March 7.

Ivan said the suspension was carried out to analyze the alleged crime of money laundering (TPPU) by Rafael as a former Ministry of Finance tax official (Kemenkeu).

"Yes, in the context of analysis according to our authority," said Ivan.

PPATK has blocked Rafael Alun Trisambodo's account. Also, the account belonging to the tax consultant is suspected of being nominee or borrowed by Rafael.

"Yes, there is a blocking of tax consultants," said Ivan

Ivan did not specify this tax consultant. However, this name loan is allegedly not only carried out by Rafael but also other parties.

"Allegedly as the nominee of the RAT and several other related parties," he said.

PPATK suspects this nominee is a way to launder money. Therefore, the suspicious transaction that Rafael allegedly carried out was not detected.

"We suspect that there is a professional money launching that has been acting for the benefit of the RAT," explained Ivan.
