Cimahi Mayor's Bribery Case, Entrepreneur Akhmad Saikhu Is Examined By The KPK

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned a number of witnesses in the licensing bribery case that ensnared Cimahi Mayor Ajay Muhammad Priatna, including two directors of a private company.

The two directors are Akhmad Saikhu who is the President Director of PT Dania Pratama Internasional and the Director of PT Bandung Pakar, Purnawan Suriadi.

"The two witnesses were examined for suspect AJM regarding the bribery case in licensing in Cimahi City for the 2018-2020 Fiscal Year," said Acting KPK spokesman for prosecution Ali Fikri in his statement, Friday, January 8.

Apart from examining the two directors of the private company, the KPK also investigated a student named Bilal Insan Muhammad.

Previously, the former Mayor of Cimahi was caught in a hand arrest (OTT) operation in November 2020. Ajay is suspected of receiving IDR 1.661 billion from an initial agreement of IDR 3.2 billion regarding the licensing of the Kasih Bunda Hospital for the 2018-2020 Fiscal Year.

The gift to Ajay has been made five times in several places, amounting to around Rp. 1.661 billion. The giving has been made since May 6, 2020, while the last gift on November 27, 2020 was IDR 425 million.
