Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, said that the future of Bripka Ricky Rizal as a new police officer would be determined after the criminal sentence in the premeditated murder case of Yosua alias Brigadier J had been signed.

"We'll wait for the inkrah decision," Ramadhan told reporters, Wednesday, February 22.

The verdict against Bripka Ricky Rizal has not yet had permanent legal force. This is because the public prosecutor's camp and former aide Ferdy Sambo decided to file an appeal

The panel of judges sentenced Ricky Rizal to 13 years in prison.

"We are still waiting for the appeal trial. So we are still waiting for the appeal hearing," said Ramadhan.

Ricky Rizal was Ferdy Sambo's adjutant while serving as the Head of the Propam Police Division. In the premeditated murder case, he is said to have played a role in monitoring Brigadier J's movements.

Ricky Rizal's actions are considered to have fulfilled the elements of Article 340 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to (1) of the Criminal Code.
