PT Pertamina has sanctioned gas stations in Kudus Regency, Central Java, for violating the rules in distributing Pertalite as a special fuel assignment (JBKP) product by serving consumers who modify their fuel tanks. "The SPBU that received the sanction was SPBU 44,594.22 in Kota District because it was proven to sell pertalite products to consumers with vehicles that modified the fuel oil tank (BBM)," said Central Java Regional CSR Area Manager PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Brasto Galih Nugroho when contacted from Kudus, Antara, Wednesday, February 22. Pertamina will not hesitate to impose strict sanctions on gas stations that are proven to have committed violations, especially regarding the distribution of subsidized fuel products and which are government assignments, such as pertalite. For this reason, the gas station was given guidance for violations related to the sale of JBKP fuel that did not comply with the provisions. In accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Number 37.K/HK.02/MEM.M/2022 concerning Special Types of Fuel Assignment, namely pertalite products have been designated as JBKP since January 1, 2022, the quota, and distribution are regulated by the government. Pertalite sales are only specifically for final consumers, namely motorized vehicles, except for people who work as farmers with the support of a recommendation letter from the local government. To maintain the distribution of Pertalite JBKP products on target, he said, Pertamina prohibits the purchase or sale of pertalite with jerry cans or cars with modified fuel tanks to be traded again so that the distribution is right on target. For violating the distribution regulations, he said, the gas station was 44,594,22 not receiving a month's supply of pertalite products starting January 21, 2023. However, the gas station still provides other gasoline fuel products, namely Pertamax and Pertamax turbo. Previously, PT Pertamina imposed sanctions on gas stations on Jalan Ahmad Yani Kudus for serving buyers who use jerry cans so that they were sanctioned for not getting supplies of pertalite from 16-29 June 2022. Then impose sanctions on gas stations on the North Ring Road so that during the period 25 June - 8 July 2022 it does not accept the supply of pertalite products.
