Jakarta Weather Forecast Today: Rain Accompanied By Lightning During The Day

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts rain accompanied by lightning to hit three areas of DKI Jakarta namely West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta during the afternoon.

As reported by ANTARA, Monday, February 20, the BMKG predicts that in the morning four areas of DKI Jakarta will be cloudy.

Only South Jakarta and East Jakarta experience cloudy, sunny weather.

During the day, Central Jakarta will experience light rain, then North Jakarta and the Seribu Islands will experience cloudy weather. In the evening, all of DKI Jakarta will experience cloudy skies.

In the early hours of the morning, the Seribu Islands were hit by rain accompanied by lightning, while North Jakarta experienced light rain.

South Jakarta and West Jakarta experience cloudy skies. Central Jakarta and East Jakarta are predicted to be cloudy.

The temperature in DKI Jakarta is estimated to be between 23 and 30 degrees Celsius. While the air humidity ranges from 80 to 90 percent.

BMKG urges residents to be aware of the potential for rain which can be accompanied by lightning or lightning in parts of East Jakarta, West Jakarta, and South Jakarta in the afternoon and the Seribu Islands in the early morning.
