MANOKWARI - Investigators at the General Criminal Investigation Directorate of the West Papua Regional Police have summoned several state civil servants (ASN) for questioning regarding the alleged case of document forgery reported by the local Provincial Government Honorary Forum.
West Papua Regional Police Criminal Investigation Director Kombes Novia Jaya emphasized that although the case is still under investigation status, his party will take it seriously.

His party will ask for information from the 500 honorary workers of the Provincial Government of West Papua in stages, with the hope of getting clear information from those who feel they have been disadvantaged.
"We have sent invitations to summon seven ASNs from the Regional Personnel Agency for West Papua Province to be asked for information as witnesses. Next week has also been scheduled, there are many of them, so we are running a marathon", he said in Manokwari, Antara, Thursday, February 16.
Apart from that, he said, investigators had also scheduled to summon 32 honorary workers from the West Papua Provincial Government to be examined as witnesses.
"Meanwhile, it is suspected that there were documents that were updated, whether certificates, dates of birth, what is clear are being checked for veracity, and we cannot confirm who falsified the document", he said.
According to him, if from the results of the examination later, after fulfilling two sufficient pieces of evidence, his party will hold our case to elevate its status to the investigation.
"From the statements of the seven ASNs and several honorary staff, it will be narrowed down to who has a more role in the alleged forgery of documents", he said.
