"Today we summoned six witnesses, but three of them were not present, including Herman HN," said KPK Public Prosecutor (JPU) Agus P Raharja during the trial of the 2022 PMB Unila bribe case at the Tanjungkarang District Court, Bandar Lampung, Antara, Thursday, February 16. The KPK prosecutor stated that the three witnesses had been asked to attend the trial, but until the trial process was running, there was no confirmation regarding the witnesses. "We have sent summons as witnesses, but the three of them have not confirmed their return until now," he said again. He emphasized that if the witnesses were not present after the third summons, the KPK prosecutor would ask the panel of judges to be able to present them forcibly. "This is just the first summons. If later there is a third summons, the witness is not also present at the trial, then we will summon him by asking the judge to present them," he said again. In the follow-up trial of the 2022 PMB Unila bribery case, the KPK prosecutor presented six witnesses, namely West Tulangbawang DPRD member Marzani, former Bandarlampung Mayor for two periods Herman HN, former Bandarlampung Mayor's aide for two periods Yanyan, Arneta and Ema Misriani's housewife, and Mardiana ST. However, only three witnesses were present to testify against the three defendants Karomani, Heryandi, and M Basri, namely Marzani, Arneta and Ema Misriani, while the other three namely Herman HN, Yanyan, and Mardiana were not present at the follow-up trial of the 2022 PMB Unila bribery case.
