Viral Fortuner Driver Takes Out Long-Barreled Weapon And Crashes Into A Yellow Honda Brio In Senopati, South Jakarta

JAKARTA - A viral video on social media showing a commotion between car drivers in the Office 8 Senopati area, South Jakarta. The circulating video shows the atmosphere in the middle of a traffic jam. At that time, the black Toyota Fortuner was blocking the yellow Brio car.

As a result, the black Toyota Fortuner driver came down and approached the yellow Brio car. Then, a man in a black shirt with a stocky body in a black shirt was seen hitting and kicking the side door of the yellow Brio car.

Not satisfied, the stocky man got back into his car to take something that looked like a rifle. Then, the stocky man repeatedly hit the front glass of the yellow Brio car until it cracked.

The driver of the black Toyota Fortuner even rammed his vehicle into a yellow Brio before leaving the scene.

"This morning around 02.00 my car was damaged by a Fortuner driver. At first, the car started going in the direction in front of Office 8. Was given silence but didn't want to move aside. Finally wanted to step aside after uttering harsh words. The car then chased me and damaged it in front Potenza Pharmacy", wrote the narration of the Twitter account quoted, Sunday, February 12.

Separately the Head of Public Relations of Metro Jaya Police Commissioner Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko explained, the driver of the Brio car named Ari Widianto had made a report to the South Jakarta Metro Police.

"This case has been reported to the South Jakarta Metro Police", said Trunoyudo in his statement, Sunday, February 12.

Investigators are currently investigating the chronology of the incident. Therefore, Trunoyudo said, this case was still under investigation.

"The destruction using weapons is certainly part of the investigator's examination process which will then be explored in the process of further investigation", he concluded.
