Risma Blusukan In Jakarta, PKS: Not The Social Minister For DKI, We Wait Elsewhere

JAKARTA - The blusukan action carried out by the new Social Minister (Mensos), Tri Rismaharani, should not become a polemic in the community. What the public needs to wait for is Risma's blusukan to every region in Indonesia.

Chairman of the DPP PKS, Mardani Ali Sera said this needs to be done by the former Surabaya Mayor. This is because Risma was appointed as the Minister of Social Affairs of Indonesia, not the Minister of Social Affairs specifically for DKI Jakarta.

"First, of course, all ministers who work need to be appreciated. Mrs. Risma if she is already good. And because she is the Minister of Social Affairs for all of the Republic of Indonesia, we are waiting for her blusukan action in other provinces or regions," said Mardani when contacted by Voi, Tuesday, January 5.

According to Mardani, it would be unfair if the composition of Risma's blusukan was only focused on Jakarta. As a large country, similar actions also need to be carried out in other regions. However, this member of Commission II of the Indonesian House of Representatives is sure that Risma will work in other areas.

"So it's not fair if most of them are in DKI. But I'm sure I will go to other areas as well. Give all ministers a chance, only 100 working days, then we will value it together," explained Mardani.

Tri Rismaharani, who was appointed as Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) to replace Juliari Batubara, who was involved in the corruption of social assistance (Bansos), aggressively carried out blusukan after being inaugurated.

On Monday, December 28, Risma started her work at the Ministry of Social Affairs with a blusukan. Risma visited the Ciliwung River basin, behind the Ministry of Social Affairs office. While heading to the Pramuka fly over area, Risma met several families who lived under the bridge.

The blusukan action was resumed on Wednesday, December 30th. Risma went to the residents who lived illegally in the Panjang Gedong toll road area, Pluit.

Then, Risma returned to blusukan by walking along the pedestrian lane on Jalan Thamrin, right on the right side of Plaza UOB, Central Jakarta on Monday, January 4. Risma met a number of beggars.

Of the three blusukan actions, Risma offered one program to the residents she met, namely a proper place to live. The location is the Social Rehabilitation Center for the Ex-Homeless and Beggars Pangudi Luhur in Bekasi, West Java.
