PALANGKA RAYA - The Central Kalimantan Provincial Government continues to intensify the implementation of Social Inclusion-Based Library in the implementation of development in the regions over the past few years.

Head of the Library Development and Empowerment Division of Opening Gemar at the Central Kalimantan Library and Archives Service (Dispursip), Elahni Hajati, said that the distribution of Social Inclusion-Based Library in the last two years has been done by empowering various communities.

"This includes empowering mothers in the family to obtain skills information which in turn lead to prosperity," explained Elahni Hajati as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, February 9.

Social Inclusion-Based Library is a library that can facilitate the community in developing its potential by looking at cultural diversity, the willingness to accept change, as well as offering opportunities to try, protect and fight for human culture and rights.

The implementation of the 2020-2021 Social Inclusion-Based Library Transformation Program in Indonesia is considered effective and beneficial in an effort to improve people's welfare, with the effectiveness of the program 4.09 of the 1-5 scale. This achievement was conveyed at the Pioneer Learning Meeting of the 2022 Inclusion-Based Library Transformation Program at the end of last year.

The library must transform exclusively paradigms into inclusive ones, because libraries can educate and prosper the nation's children according to the mandate of the 1945 Constitution.

"Central Kalimantan's discipline is currently trying hard in various programs and activities to educate the nation's life by bringing the library to realize five library functions, namely education, research, information, preservation and recreation," he explained.

For this reason, the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government through the local Dispursip is trying optimally to continue to intensify the implementation of the social inclusion-based library.
