Not To Be The Front Of The Islamic Association, FPI Choose The New Name Of The Islamic Brotherhood Front

JAKARTA - The ranks of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), whose activities are prohibited by the government, are now changing their plans to form a new organization.

After the FPI was dissolved by the government, its staff announced plans to form a new organization, namely the Islamic United Front. However, it has now been changed back to the Islamic Brotherhood Front.

Former Deputy General Secretary of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), Aziz Yanuar, said that the launch of the Islamic Brotherhood Front would be carried out in the near future.

"The Islamic Defenders Front has passed. Now, it's time for the Islamic Brotherhood Front. God willing, this week we will launch it," said Aziz via text message, Tuesday, January 5.

Aziz said that Rizieq Shihab himself proposed the name Islamic Brotherhood Front. "Now is the era of brotherhood. So that the word brotherhood is cooler and humanist," he said.

Regarding the name change again, Aziz said that the name of the Islamic United Front which had been declared by 19 declarators some time ago was not final.

"It has not been confirmed in the AD / ART. So, the matter of name can still be compromised. What was confirmed yesterday was only the new vessel," said Aziz.

According to him, the Islamic Brotherhood Front will have new attributes and logos that are different from the Islamic Defenders Front. Then, there is a possibility that the management structure will be different from that of the Islamic Defenders Front.

"Regarding the management, all have a chance. Later, the clear structure will be announced later in the near future," said Aziz.

Previously reported, there were 19 people who declared the Islamic United Front organization after FPI was dissolved by the government. Among them were former FPI Chairman Ahmad Sabri Lubis and General Secretary Munarman.

Other names are Abu Fihir Alattas, Abdurrahman Anwar, Abdul Qadir, Awit Mashuri, Haris Ubaidillah, Idrus Al Habsyi, Idrus Hasan, Ali Alattas, Ali Alattas, I Tuankota Basalamah, Syafiq Alaydrus, Baharuzaman, Amir Ortega, Syahroji, Waluyo, Joko, and M. Luthfi.
