PATI - The construction of the Juwana Bridge in Pati Regency, Central Java, is planned to be completed faster than the initial plan on 15 April 2023 to 1 April.

"We encourage the plan to complete the construction of the Juwana Bridge more quickly so it can be passed by road users immediately," Acting Regent Pati Henggar Budi Anggoro as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday 1 February.

The meeting was also attended by Central Java-DIY National Road Implementation Center (BBPJN), Pati Police, Dandim 0718/Pati, Pati Region II Transportation Center, Pati Transportation Agency, and Pati Public Works and Spatial Planning Office.

Henggar also hopes that road repairs in the Pantura Pati area can be completed before Eid.

According to him, the damaged roads need to be repaired, while currently, repairs are taking place on the roads from Juwana to Batangan.

The length of the road being repaired, he said, starts from kilometers 89-95 with a road length of around 5.4 km which is planned to be completed on April 12, 2023.

Apart from that, he added, there are five segments that will be worked on and are the most severe points.

"Therefore, we hope it can be resolved as soon as possible," he said.

Henggar also stressed the need for synergy in the field so that later there would be no traffic disruptions.

For this reason, he said, alternative routes have been prepared, including the route that has been prepared by BBPJN, namely the Glonggong-Jakenan route, which is in good condition.

Other alternative routes will also be prepared to reduce traffic congestion.

To make it easier for road users, a large number of information boards will be added to make it easy for road users to know.
