JAKARTA - The Presidium of the Coalition for Action to Save Indonesia (WE) Din Syamsuddin is officially married to Rashda Diana. The happy moment was held at Pondok Pesatren Gontor, Ponorogo, East Java.

The happy news was conveyed by Din's close relative, Ma'mun Murod via his Twitter account @mamunmurod_. Din's marriage contract with Rashda took place at 09.00 WIB at Pondok Pesantren Gontor, Ponorogo, East Java.

"It's true, Pak Din will hold a marriage contract this morning. Alhamdulillah, Pak Din has found a companion in life and struggle. Hopefully sakinah mawaddah warahmah," said Ma'mun who is also the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Muhammadiyah University of Jakarta (UMJ).

It is known, Rashda Diana is the second daughter of the late KH Imam Subakir Ahmad, who was one of the leaders of the Gontor Islamic Boarding School. Rashda is also the grandson of the founder of Gontor, KH Imam Zarkasy.

Rashda Diana was born in Ponorogo on May 5, 1973. Rashida is the second of three children. Before accepting Din's proposal, Rasdha was married to Dr. Dihyatun Masqon, who died in 2018.

Based on data in the fields of research, scientific publications, and community service (Litapdimas) of the Ministry of Religion, the name Rashda Diana is listed as a lecturer or lecturer in universities. Rashda is a lecturer at Darussalam Gontor University, with the fields of Sharia and Law Studies.

Din alias Sirajuddin Syamsudin himself was reportedly divorced from Novalinda Jonafrianty on December 16, 2020. Where before, he married Novalinda after his wife died, Fira Beranata in July 2010. Unfortunately, from that marriage, they were not blessed with children.
