Governor Rusdy, Please The Central Government Pay Attention To Earthquake Victims In Central Sulawesi

Central Sulawesi Governor Rusdy Mastura hopes that the Ministry of Public Works for Public Housing (PUPR) can accelerate the recovery of the impact of earthquakes, tsunamis and liquefaction in Palu City, Sigi and Donggala Regencies, especially those related to the provision of permanent housing.

"Hopefully by the end of 2023 all people affected by the disaster whose houses are heavily damaged, will get their rights," said Rusdy Mastura, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, January 27.

Rusdy Mastura stated that people affected by the 2018 disaster who lost their homes and occupied temporary housing (Huntara), some of whom had been waiting for their homes to be built by the government for a long time.

The construction of permanent housing which is one of the focuses of recovering the impact of the 2018 disaster, he said, was carried out by the government with various financing schemes.

One of them, he said, was that the financing came from the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

"I thank the Minister of PUPR, world banks, ADB and all parties who have pushed for the acceleration of the completion of the 2018 disaster impact in Central Sulawesi," said Cudy, Rusdy Mastura's nickname.

The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) in 2023 will build permanent permanent housing for residents affected by the 2018 disaster who have lost their homes. The construction of permanent housing is the construction of stages 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E and 2F.

The construction of the Post-disaster Permanent Resident of Central Sulawesi Province Phase 2B will be built by contractor PT. Adhi Karya and will be built a permanent residence of 1,321 units spread across three places, namely in Tondo Village, Palu City as many as 1,055 units.

Then in Sibalaya Selatan Village, Sigi Regency as many as 120 units, and hamlet two Bangga Village, Sigi Regency as many as 146 units.

As for stage 2C as many as 533 units, stage 2D as many as 483 units, stage 2E as many as 533 units, and stage 2F as many as 471 units.
