The East Jakarta Immigration Office Opens Passport Services Through Tokopedia, Check Out How And Provisions

JAKARTA - The Class I Immigration Office of TPI East Jakarta made a breakthrough. They opened an online passport delivery service.

The East Jakarta Immigration Office made a delivery through PT Pos Indonesia in collaboration with the marketplace platform, Tokopedia.

"Since 2016 we have been working with courier services, such as PT Pos Indonesia, for sending ready-made passports," said East Jakarta TPI Head of Class I Kanim Berthi Mustika, as quoted by Antara, Saturday, January 21.

The passport delivery through Tokopedia has been going on since the end of 2022. The delivery service at the marketplace refers to the East Jakarta Immigration Office Employee Cooperative store account as a partner providing service products.

Applicants who wish to use courier services via Tokopedia can use passport delivery services via courier provided that they send photos or scanned proof of payment.

"Make sure the quality of the photo is good or not blurry," he said.

Then, the applicant is asked to write down the delivery address in detail and contact that can be contacted. Passports will be sent four working days after the stage of taking photos and biometric fingerprints.

"Services do not apply to passport replacement because they are damaged or lost," he added.

To use this service, the applicant can find the store account of the East Jakarta Immigration Office Employee Cooperative at Tokopedia, then select the product "Sent by the East Jakarta Immigration Office Employee Cooperative".

"The fee imposed for this service is Rp. 30,000, which includes the control of passport collection services by people outside the Family Card, including stamps, passport packaging services, cooperative officers services, as well as the cost of office stationery used for packaging," said Berthi.
