JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has the opportunity to summon the owner of the room at the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building on Tuesday, January 17. The search was related to allegations of corruption in land acquisition in Pulogebang, East Jakarta. "Surely the KPK will summon anyone in its capacity," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Thursday, January 19. After the search was carried out, investigators are currently analyzing their findings. The evidence found at that time was documents to electronic evidence allegedly related to the procurement process. After the analysis is carried out, investigators will summon witnesses, including the owner of the room that was searched. This step is a form of confirmation. "The process is when searching, analyzing, confiscating, and confirming by summoning relevant witnesses to prove the actions of the suspects," he said. As previously reported, the anti-corruption commission searched the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building on Tuesday, January 18. There were six rooms that were searched, including work rooms on the 10th floor, 8, 6, 4, 2, and staff of Commission C of the DKI DPRD. From this activity, evidence was found in the form of documents and electronic evidence allegedly related to land acquisition in Pulogebang. All of these findings will be examined by the KPK and confiscated to complete the case file. Even so, the KPK will not reveal the suspects in this case. Later they will be announced together with efforts to force detention.
