The case of the death of a toddler (under five years) at Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta has been revealed. The toddler with the initials AF (2) is known to have died as a result of being mistreated. As a result of their actions, the two suspects AS and IT were charged with Article 351 paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code, Article 77 concerning child protection and Article 76 with the threat of criminal penalties above 5 years.
"We will detain them," he said.
Previously, it was reported that the Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) arrested three nearby families of toddlers with the initials AF (2) who died as a result of abuse in a house in the Pekayon area, Pasar Rebo District, East Jakarta.
Currently, the three of them are still being investigated by investigators from the Women and Children Service Unit (PPA) of the East Jakarta Metro Police.
