Polda Metro Finds 25 Reactive People With COVID-19 During Operation Candle 2020

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has held Operation Lilin 2020 during the holiday season for Christmas and New Year 2021. During the three days running, the police found 25 people with COVID-19 reactive.

In Operation Candle 2020, Polda Metro Jaya is indeed supervising health protocols and randomly examining people who have been caught in the operation.

"The results of the free rapid test examination totaled 2468 with 2443 non-reactive and 25 reactive results," said the Head of Dokkes Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Umar Shahab to reporters, Saturday, December 26.

For people who are declared reactive, Polda Metro Jaya recommends conducting a PCR test. The test is carried out at the health center and in the hospital.

"For the reactive ones, it is recommended for a PCR test to a health center or hospital," said Umar.

As is known, Polda Metro Jaya together with Kodam Jaya and the Provincial Government (Pemprov) of DKI Jakarta carried out the 2020 Candle Jaya Operation Forces Campaign in the National Monument (Monas) area. Apples to ensure security readiness ahead of Christmas and New Year.

The Candle Operation is held for two weeks from 21 December to 4 January.
