There Is A Bomb Threat, More Than 60 Aviation In Japan Fired

JAKARTA - More than 60 flights were canceled at Chubu Centrair International Airport in Aicihi Prefecture, Japan, after a Jetstar plane made an emergency landing due to the threat of a bomb.

According to Japanese media, the Jetstar plane made an emergency landing on Saturday morning on a flight from Narita International Airport near Tokyo to Fukuoka on Kyushu Island.

Nippon TV reported, quoted by Antara, Sunday, that 63 flights were canceled at Chubu Centrair International Airport. In addition, four planes were forced to change their flight goals.

Japan's public broadcast channel, NHK, on Saturday quoted police statement that five people were injured in the evacuation process.

The Jetstar flight was reported to contain 136 passengers and six crew members.

Police have checked the plane, especially in the cargo storage area, but did not find any explosives.

"Due to the emergency landing triggered by the threat of the bomb, the Chubu Centrair airport runway was closed for 4.5 hours," said NHK.
