Invite Artists And Make Crowds, Beauty Products Birthday Event In Makassar Disbanded

MAKASSAR - A well-known beauty product, held a birthday event at a luxury building on Jalan Metro Tanjung Bunga Makassar, South Sulawesi. The event invited the capital's top artists. Because many residents flocked to the crowd, the birthday party for beauty products was disbanded by the police.

Officers from Polrestabes Makassar, South Sulawesi immediately dismissed the event because they were deemed to have violated the COVID-19 health protocol. There are about hundreds of participants who took part in the event. Even the organizers also brought in the capital's artist so that it attracted the interest of Makassar residents.

Kapolrestabes Makassar Kombes Pol Witnu Urip Laksana explained, the dissolution of beauty product birthdays should be done because it caused a crowd and did not comply with health protocols.

"The orders are clear, there is no crowd permit issued by the police. Moreover, now the transmission rate of COVID-19 is high again, so all activities that cause crowds are confirmed to be unauthorized," said Kombes Pol Witnu Urip Laksana, as quoted by Antara, Thursday 24 December.

Investigate, the event organizer did not have a crowd permit from the police. This includes neither having nor recommendations from the Makassar COVID-19 Task Force.

"There is an activity that is feared to create crowds in the midst of a pandemic. The facts obtained from the licensing aspect of the police and the committee do not exist. The committee cannot show recommendations for activities from the COVID-19 Task Force Team, both city and district," he said.

Head of Public Relations of the South Sulawesi Regional Police, Kombes Pol Ibrahim Tompo, said that the transmission of COVID-19 is still happening and the numbers have tended to increase in recent times.

"There is no crowd permit and we will definitely disperse if there is a crowd because it has the potential to exchange COVID-19," he said.

"We make sure all forms of crowd, for example, permits for the New Year's Eve will not be issued by the South Sulawesi Police," he said.
