Up 56.54 Percent, 59,262 Vehicles Towards Jakarta During The 2023 New Year Holiday

JAKARTA - The number of vehicles from various regions passing through the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate to Jakarta increased by about 56.54 percent during the 2023 New Year holidays. The increase was compared to normal days.

Based on data from PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol as of Monday, January 2, 59,262 vehicles passed at the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate. This number increased when compared to normal traffic flow of 37,858 vehicles.

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol also recorded the volume of traffic for the 2023 New Year holiday in Central Java and East Java.

The details, based on an Antara report, for Central Java which includes the Kalikangkung Toll Gate leaving Semarang were recorded as 36,332 vehicles, an increase of 93.28 percent from normal traffic as many as 18,798 vehicles.

Meanwhile, for vehicles heading to Semarang, 20,462 vehicles were recorded, an increase of 15.60 percent from normal traffic as many as 17,701 vehicles.

Next at the Banyumanik Toll Gate on January 1, 2023, 27,277 vehicles left Semarang or decreased by 2.53 percent from normal traffic of 27,984 vehicles.

For vehicles heading to Semarang, there were 40,469 vehicles recorded, an increase of 55.61 percent from normal traffic as many as 26,007 vehicles.

Then for the eastern region at the Warugunung Toll Gate in the same period, Jasamarga recorded 23,239 vehicles leaving Surabaya, an increase of 34.28 percent from normal traffic of 17,307 vehicles. On the other hand, vehicles heading to Surabaya via the same toll road recorded 30,159 vehicles, an increase of 49.97 percent.

Furthermore, at the Kejapanan Utama Toll Gate, there were 34,374 vehicles leaving Surabaya, an increase of 15.99 percent from normal traffic as many as 29,636 vehicles. On the other hand, 44,896 vehicles headed to Surabaya, an increase of 38.24 percent from normal traffic of 32,478 vehicles.

Finally, at the Singosari Toll Gate on January 1, 2023, Jasamarga recorded 20,515 vehicles leaving Malang, up 33.50 percent from normal traffic of 15,367 vehicles.

Meanwhile, there were 16,026 vehicles heading to Malang, an increase of 15.28 percent from normal traffic as many as 13,902 vehicles.
