JAKARTA - PT Transjakarta BUMD opened the operations of three new bus routes starting Monday, December 26 yesterday. One of them is a bus route to Depok, precisely at the University of Indonesia (UI).

In detail, the three new routes are Blok M - University of Indonesia (9H), Pasar Minggu - Velbak (6) and Terminal Pulogadung - Lampiri (JAK 99).

Head of Transjakarta Corporate Secretary Division Anang Rizkani Noor revealed that the opening of the three routes was carried out to facilitate the increasing number of passenger mobility in the area.

"The opening of these three new routes uses low entry buses that are already in the planning to anticipate an increase in the number of customers on two of the three new routes, namely Route 9H and 6T," said Anang in his statement, Tuesday, December 27.

Previously, TransJakarta also operated two non-corridoral services that the public had been waiting for, namely the Summarecon Bekasi-Pancoran (B11) and Ciputat-Kampung Rambutan (S22) routes starting Monday, November 26.

"This service is reopened to accommodate the aspirations of the community and anticipate the slowdown of the pandemic which encourages more residents to move outside," said Anang.

Anang explained that the newly opened route services will serve the community every Monday to Friday from 05.00 WIB to 22.00 WIB.

In addition, Transjakarta also added a new route in Mikrotrans operations, namely JAK 110 with the Tanah Merdeka Terminal route and Pulogebang Terminal. The operation of the JAK 110 Microtrans has been open since Tuesday, September 6.

"The opening of the latest Microtrans route is expected to make it easier for people's mobility both as feeders and modes of daily transportation," he said.

Until December 2022, Transjakarta operates on 219 routes, with an reactive total of 42 routes and the opening of new routes reaching 16.
