Asked by a reporter to comment on Sunday's announcement in Tehran of the arrests of seven people linked to Britain, Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Lazi said: "Some countries, especially those you mentioned, have unconstructive roles related to the latest developments in Iran.
"Their role is really damaging and inciting riots," he said.
