The Truck At Hajar Minibus In Cirebon, 1 Died, 9 Injured

The accident involving a minibus Luxio B-2699-KMK full of passengers and box B-8679-FL trucks occurred in Cirebon, West Java (West Java). As a result, one died and nine others were injured.

"The accident resulted in one death and the other being injured," said Head of Gakkum Satlantas Cirebon Police Iptu Mei Handikusuma in Cirebon, West Java, Saturday, December 24, quoted from Antara.

According to him, the accident between a minibus and a box truck occurred on Saturday, December 24, at around 05.40 WIB, on public roads entering Patapan Village, Beber District, Cirebon Regency.

He explained that as a result of the accident, a person died, namely the driver of the minibus Luxio B-2699-KMK on behalf of Wahidin (37) whose address is in Langseb Village, Lebakwangi District, Kuningan Regency.

Meanwhile, continued May, nine people consisting of seven minibus passengers and two drivers and a truck assistant were rushed to the nearest health service for treatment.

"We took the truck and kernet drivers to the Gunung Jati Hospital, while we took seven minibus passengers to the Beber Health Center," he said.

May added that the accident occurred after the truck tried to overtake from the opposite direction, where the contours of the road declined and turned, so the driver was less careful and an accident occurred.

Currently, said May, his party is still handling the accident case, while the vehicle involved has been taken to the nearest police station.

"The box B-8679-FL truck that drove from Kuningan to Cirebon as it took the right side of the road crashed into the Daihatsu Luxio B-2699-KMK vehicle," he said.
