KPK Confiscated Documents From Regional Secretary Of Cimahi City Dikdik After Examination

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) confiscated documents from two witnesses examined in the investigation of a bribery case related to the licensing of the Kasih Bunda General Hospital (RSU), Cimahi City, West Java.

The KPK was found out Wednesday, December 16 to question the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Cimahi City Dikdik Suratno Nugrahawan and Head of the Building Permit Section of the Cimahi City DPMPTSP Aam Rustam as witnesses for the inactive Cimahi Mayor Ajay Muhammad Priatna (AJM).

"Various documents related to this case were confiscated," said Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri through his statement in Jakarta, reported by Antara Thursday, December 17.

Ali also informed that there was one witness who did not respond to the investigators' summons on Wednesday, December 16, namely the Economic Assistant for the Development of the Cimahi Mayor's Office, Ahmad Nuryana.

"We have rescheduled," said Ali.

On Saturday, November 28, the KPK named Ajay and the Commissioner of the Kasih Bunda Hospital, Hutama Yonathan (HY) as suspects.

Ajay is suspected of receiving IDR 1,661 billion from the initial IDR 3.2 billion agreement related to the licensing of the Kasih Bunda Hospital for the 2018-2020 Fiscal Year.

The gift to Ajay has been made five times in several places, amounting to around IDR 1,661 billion. The giving has been made since May 6, 2020, while the last gift on November 27, 2020 was IDR 425 million.

As a recipient, Ajay is suspected of violating Article 12 letter a or Article 12 letter b or Article 11 and or Article 12 B of Law Number 31 of 1999 as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Eradication of Corruption Crimes.

Meanwhile, Hutama is suspected of violating Article 5 paragraph 1 letter a or Article 5 paragraph (1) letter b or Article 13 of Law Number 31 Year 1999 as amended by Law Number 20 Year 2001 concerning Eradication of Corruption Crimes.
