The Body Of A TNI Soldier Who Disappeared After Being Hit By A Train Was Found In The Cemoro River

SRAGEN - The body of Pelda Eka Budi (50), a member of the Kalijambe Koramil who was lost when the TNI-Polri patrol car was hit by a train at the KM 13 Solo-Purwodadi crossing in Kalimacan Village, Sragen Regency, was found. The TNI soldier's body was carried away by the Cemoro River about 1.3 km from the scene.

Head of Basarnas Semarang, Nur Yahya, in a press release in Semarang, Central Java, Tuesday, explained that the victim was found at around 09.30 WIB in a position on the surface of the water.

"It was found in the Cemoro River, precisely in Kedung Cempluk," he said as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, December 15.

The bodies that were evacuated by the joint team were then taken to RSUD Soeratno Gemolong.

Previously, a police patrol car had an accident with a train at the Dukuh train crossing, Siboto RT 11/02, Kalimacan Village, Kalijambe District, Sragen Regency, Sunday, December 13, at 23.05 WIB.

Sragen Police Chief AKBP Yuswanto Ardi said the two victims who died were members of the Sragen Police Aipda Samsul Hadi (57) on duty at the Kalijambe Police, residents of Perum Gemolong and Bripka Slamet Mulyono (45), residents of Solo were successfully evacuated on Monday morning.

The wreckage of the car carrying the three victims was successfully evacuated from the railway bridge at around 07.00 WIB and immediately taken to the Sragen Police.
