Asked By Bawaslu To Guard Ballot Boxes For The 2024 Elections, TNI Commander Andika: Anytime, Sir!

JAKARTA - TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa stated that the TNI is ready to support the needs of the KPU and Bawaslu in facing the 2024 Simultaneous Elections.

This was conveyed by General Andika when receiving the Bawaslu audience regarding synergy in preparation for the 2024 Election.

"The point is, we have to support the needs of the RI KPU and the RI Bawaslu. We are ready," said Andika, quoted from his YouTube channel, Sunday, November 20.

During the hearing, Bawaslu asked for security support for all stages of the 2024 Simultaneous Election, especially in distributing ballot boxes and monitoring areas prone to conflict.

"Anytime (anytime), sir!" Andika said when responding to Bawaslu's request.

In addition to asking for security support, Bawaslu Chair Rahmat Bagja had discussed data synchronization related to monitoring the final voter list (DPT) for data on active TNI members and retired TNI members.

Responding to this, General Andika immediately gave directions to the Territorial Assistant to the TNI Commander to immediately coordinate and provide the data, according to the needs of the election organizers.

"We must hurry, sir. Hardcopy with electronic files, so it's easy," he said.

Rahmat Bagja expressed his appreciation to the General and his staff for giving a quick response to the Bawaslu's request.

"Bawaslu would like to thank the TNI Commander and staff for his quick response in following up on Bawaslu's request in preparation for the 2024 Simultaneous Elections," he stated.
