Squadron 4 Of The Indonesian Air Force Prepares Four Aircraft To Support The Smooth Running Of The G20 Summit

JAKARTA - TNI Air Force Skadron 4 Abdulrachman Abdulrachman Saleh Malang alerted four aircraft to support the smoothness of the G20 Summit (KTT) held in Bali on November 14-16, 2022. Air Squadron Commander 4 Aviation Mayor Deharday Nugraha in a written statement received by Antara in Malang City, East Java, Saturday 12 November said that three types of Cassa 212 aircraft had been alerted in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) and one CN-295 aircraft in Air Squadron 2 Banyuwangi, East Java. "Four aircraft were alerted to support the government for the smooth running of the G20 Summit which was held on November 14-16 in Bali," said Deharday. Deharday explained that the four planes alerted in Lombok and Banyuwangi, will be tasked with carrying out weather Modification Technology (TMC) operations. The operation aims to support the smooth implementation of the G20 Summit which will be attended by a number of heads of countries in the world.

According to him, the TMC will be implemented until the G20 Summit is completed with a focus on a number of seeding areas. The seeding will be carried out in the Bali area and its surroundings so that the area does not rain and becomes an obstacle during the G20 Summit. "The seeding is carried out in the Bali area and its surroundings. With the implementation of this TMC, it is hoped that rain will not occur in the area of the G20 Summit," he said. He added that the implementation of TMC to support the G20 Summit was part of a military operation in addition to war (OMSP).
