JAKARTA - The Gerindra Party does not want to be too lulled by the support of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) who commented on the 2024 presidential election quota, it is likely that it will fall to Gerindra Chairman Prabowo Subianto.

Despite responding positively to Jokowi's support, Secretary General of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani emphasized that Prabowo's victory in the 2024 presidential election depended on the work of the party. "I think whatever support from Pak Jokowi to Pak Prabowo, in the end the victory is determined by all of us. By the work of the Gerindra Party, the work of its supporters, the work of its volunteers, and the work of the people who hope that Indonesia will be led by Pak Prabowo 2024," said Muzani, Wednesday, November 9.

Muzani did not deny that what Jokowi said, of course, encouraged Gerindra. However, this remark must be accepted as motivation so that Gerindra will win even more in total Prabowo in the 2024 presidential election.

"What Pak Jokowi said was a big impetus for us to win Mr. Prabowo in the 2024 presidential election," said Muzani.

Muzani also expressed his appreciation to Jokowi for his support for the Gerindra presidential candidate. "Of course we are grateful for Pak Jokowi's statement, support from Pak Prabowo," he concluded.

Previously, Deputy General Chairperson of Gerindra Habiburokhman hoped that Jokowi's words regarding the 2024 presidential election might be granted Prabowo's victory quota

Habiburokhman agreed that the 2024 presidential election would be a momentum for Gerindra Party chairman Prabowo Sunianto. Because according to him, Prabowo's performance in leading the Ministry of Defense received a positive response from the community.
