PPP's Continous Struggle For KIB, Mardiono: Hopefully After Becoming A Sweetheart, Mr. Airlangga and Mr. Zulhas Will Love Us

JAKARTA - Acting General Chairperson of PPP Mardiono asked for the commitment of all PPP cadres not to change political principles with the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB).

Under his leadership, Mardiono wants PPP cadres to walk solidly ahead of the 2024 election by no longer discussing the internal heat and cold of the party when Suharso Monoarfa stepped down.

"So now we are more mature, we are fighting together in PPP, that is PPP maturity. I am in detail with all my friends, we must not be naughty, we are sweet little children so that people will love us," said Mardiono while attending a KIB consolidation meeting at the hotel. Mardiono also warned his cadres to support KIB consisting of PPP, Golkar and PAN. Without or with PPP, KIB already has tickets to carry presidential and vice presidential candidates because they meet the threshold for presidential nominations in the general election

Therefore, Mardiono said the cadres will continue to carry out internal political work, including those related to MCH for the sake of winning the 2024 General Election.

"So, be careful. If Golkar and PAN go their own way, the target is enough (to carry). So, I am very careful. Hopefully when you become a sweet child, then Mr.Airlangga and Mr.Zulkifli Hasan will love you," Mardiono said, according to Antara.

On the same occasion, the General Chair of the Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto, said that KIB is a coalition of parties that is most prepared and has the conditions to carry presidential and vice presidential candidates in the 2024 presidential election.

In fact, he said, many cadres are experienced and have good flying hours while working in party organizations.

"I underline the case of the presidential and vice presidential candidates. There are many experienced cadres here, high flight hours. The most important thing is to have a NIK, have a KTA. Because KIB is a coalition whose members are political parties, so if you have a NIK, this KTA is the key, because this is not a coalition. individual. Therefore, we will see when it is a matter of time," he said.

However, the General Chair of PAN Zulkifli Hasan added, KIB is currently fully committed not to rush to determine the presidential and vice presidential candidates to face the 2024 presidential election.

"We are not in a hurry, Mr. Airlangga said earlier, not in a hurry. We want to win, then run our program, then succeed in the next 10 years. Of course, we still have a long struggle at KIB," said the man who is known as Zulhas.
