Bandung Police Are Very Strict In Providing Music Concert Permits Or Crowds

Bandung Police stated that the permit for music concerts or activities that invited crowds was still very strict because it was still in the atmosphere of the COVID-19 pandemic. Bandung Police Chief Kombes Aswin Sipayung said his party was still guided by the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs (Inmendagri) regarding the Implementation of the Java-Bali level 1 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM). "The security is very strict, if he doesn't obey, I will give permission," said Aswin at the Bandung Police, Bandung City, West Java, Antara, Friday, November 4. By referring to the Ministry of Home Affairs, recommendations from the Bandung City COVID-19 Handling Task Force (Satgas) are not always confirmed by the police. According to him, the police also have their own assessment of a community activity that requires more security than usual. "The first parameters are the Ministry of Home Affairs, the second is the situation, I don't only see the location, but also the capacity, then access to it, because it is dangerous if at the time the event booms," he said. "Remember, I also don't allow Dewa 19, that's just in Bandung," added Aswin. Currently, the daily increase in COVID-19 cases in the city of Bandung has increased compared to the previous time. On Thursday (4/11) there were 121 new cases of COVID-19, this figure is more than the previous days which only increased by 50-90 cases.
