'Don't Be Provoked And Don't Be A Provocateur', Said Setiabudi Police Chief After Reconciling Ojol Driver And Multivision Building Security

JAKARTA - The commotion between online motorcycle taxi drivers (ojol) and security at the Multivision Building, Kuningan, South Jakarta ended peacefully. The peace process was carried out at the Setiabudi Police, Wednesday, November 2.

"Regarding the dispute earlier, both parties, in this case, Mr. Aji and Mr. Tri, have agreed to make peace with each other," said Setiabudi Police Chief Kompol Agung Permana, quoting Antara, Wednesday, November 2.

Agung explained that the disagreement that occurred this afternoon between one security person and one motorcycle taxi driver had been resolved amicably.

For this reason, he hopes that in the future there will be no more misunderstandings and the police convey a message, especially to ojol drivers, that the problem has been resolved amicably.

Agung appealed that no more motorcycle taxi drivers should be provoked or become provocateurs.

Then Agung asked both parties to convey the agreement between the two for their colleagues to hear. Agung also advised the two not to hold grudges.

"There are no more motorcycle taxi drivers who are provoked or become provocateurs," said Kompol Agung.

Tri as the building security officer admitted that it was his fault for hitting the motorcycle taxi driver.

"From my conscience, I say I apologize profusely," said Tri.

Meanwhile ojol driver Aji accepted the security officer's apology and said the problem had been resolved.

Aji asked his fellow ojol drivers not to cause any more noise in the area where the building is located because the problem has been resolved.
