BOGOR - Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, questioned the two main directors of BUMD DKI during a meeting of the DKI DPRD Budget Board on Wednesday, November 2 yesterday.

This meeting discussed the draft General Policy for the Provisional Budget Priority Ceiling (KUA-PPAS) of the APBD for the 2023 fiscal year.

During the meeting, Prasetyo questioned the President Director of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) Widi Amanasto regarding the clarity of payment for the lease of land owned by Ancol by Jakpro for the construction of the Formula E circuit and its implementation.

"My initial question is, have you paid Ancol IDR 20 billion?" asked Prasetyo at the Grand Cempaka Resort, Bogor Regency, West Java.

Widi answered Prasetyo's question, but did not explain the certainty of paying the land rent debt. Widi only said that the land lease to Ancol is valid for three years until 2024, according to the planned implementation year of Formula E.

"So, Formula E is for the lease of circuit land with Ancol for a 3-year period. Here the circuit lease for land is used for 4 months in the first year. Then, 1 month for the second year and 1 month for the third year," said Widi.

Not satisfied with Widi's answer, Prasetyo also asked PT Pembangunan Jaya President Director Ancol Winarto about the clarity of the land lease debt. In fact, Winarto admitted that Jakpro had not paid off the debt to his company.

"I want to ask first, here. Where is Ancol? Hasn't its (Jakpro) debt been paid during Formula E?" asked Prasetyo.

"Not yet," replied Winarto.

It is known that Formula E Jakarta was first held on June 4, 2022. The plan is for this electric car racing event to be continued in 2023 and 2024.

Some time ago, former President Director of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Teuku Sahir Syahali stated that the land for the Formula E track was leased to PT Jakpro as an electric car racing organizer.

"Ancol commit does not spend funds for Formula E. Funds for Formula E are carried out by Jakpro, if the land and system are B2B (business to business), Jakpro only rents it to us," said Teuku on December 28, 2021.
