This Year's DKI Budget Absorption Minim, PDIP Salahkan TGUPP Era Anies

JAKARTA - At the beginning of November, the absorption of the DKI Jakarta APBD in the 2022 budget year was still minimal, namely 57.33 percent of the absorption target.

The chairman of the PDIP faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Gembong Warsono, assessed that the low budget absorption was caused by the DKI Jakarta Governor's Team for the Acceleration of Development (TGUPP) in the era of former DKI Governor Anies Baswedan, who was still working until 16 October.

"Until October, the burden of civil servants was not too free. Yesterday there was a lot of TGUPP interference, but the SKPD did not dare to talk. This is the problem. Thus, hampering the absorption process is very significant," said Gembong when contacted, Wednesday, October 2.

This member of Commission A of the DKI DPRD gave an example of the implementation of the budget for regional work units (SKPD) supervised in Commission A.

Gembong said, the offices monitored by Commission A of the DPRD as long as there is TGUPP do not execute the program optimally. Because, so far, the program being run is TGUPP's choice, not from planning the work of these agencies.

"The program in the (official) A is actually not the head of the service. However, maybe the initiators came from the TGUPP, so that in the execution they became half-hearted. Because they were half-hearted, the absorption that occurred would be low," explained Gembong.

Therefore, during the current leadership of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono, Gembong encouraged Heru to mobilize his staff to execute programs that had not yet reached the target by the end of this year.

"Yesterday we did the mapping, we encourage the provincial government to be immediately triggered to be executed immediately. The execution must be evenly distributed throughout DKI Jakarta. Programs that determine the interests of the community must be executed immediately so that development can be immediately felt by the entire community," he added.
