"The flooding that occurred after moderate to high intensity rain had an impact on four sub-districts including Sidamulya District, Kitabung District, Candipulo District and Kalianda District," said Abdul.
Abdul explained that the flood had submerged as many as 697 houses inhabited by approximately 697 families. The flood has caused 2 houses to be heavily damaged and 2 houses moderately damaged. In addition, there was 1 house of worship affected, 2 bridges were damaged and 2 embankment points collapsed.
"Due to the disaster, as many as 200 residents were forced to evacuate," Abdul continued.
As an effort to accelerate the handling of the flood disaster, a joint team from the West Lampung Regency BPBD together with elements of the TNI/Polri, Basarnas, volunteers and other components continued to strive to save victims.
